Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis (GCRC) services focus on three key areas:

Triage & Survivor Support
Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis offers free, anonymous help for survivors of rape and sexual assault. Our specially trained staff are here to listen, support and advise without judgement.
You will be believed.
We help you to cope, survive and ultimately move on from what happened to you. Whether an assault has just happened or took place many years ago, we’re here for you.
While most of our services are for women and girls in the Glasgow and Clyde area, we also offer support to UK citizens who are abroad and who have been raped or sexually assaulted.

Justice & Community Support
We offer a justice service for survivors who are considering reporting or have reported an assault.
We can guide you through the decisions you need to make about whether to report a rape or sexual assault to the police and what to expect if you do.
We’re also here to help you through the process if your case goes to court.
It can take a long time to go through the court process and our Advocates stay alongside survivors for as long as it takes.

Consultancy & Training Support
Founded back in 1976, our mission is to create a society where women and girls are equal, and free from all forms of sexual violence.
To help prevent sexual violence, we offer training and education to schools, youth groups, colleges and universities and public sector organisations.
Open to anyone in these organisations, we educate people to understand sexual consent, sexual coercion, and the influence of gender socialisation in relationships.
We also offer first responder and bystander training for universities and colleges.
