For deaf women

If you are deaf or hearing impaired and want to access support using British Sign Language we use Deaf Connections Sign On Screen. We can also arrange for a female signer to be with you during your support sessions.

The sign on screen is a new communication service available for deaf people whose preferred language is British Sign Language (BSL). The sign on screen offers users the opportunity to use an online video interpreting service as a means of communicating more easily in BSL with hearing people.

The sign on screen is suitable for short face to face meetings and is available 9am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am until 3pm on Fridays. This will enable people who use BSL to book an initial support session in person. We will then arrange for a female signer to attend your sessions or you can bring your own signer if you prefer.
