ROSEY Project

Studies have shown that one in two young women will experience some kind of unwanted sexual contact before they reach the age of eighteen. This can range from flashing to rape and all of these experiences can have a lasting effect on the woman.

The ROSEY Project (Rape Crisis Offering Support and Education for Young People) is a service that offers awareness raising workshops for boys and girls around sexual violence within schools and youth groups. It is the Prevention Programme for Glasgow Rape Crisis. Rosey also provides support for young women who are survivors of rape, sexual assault or childhood sexual abuse or who are experiencing sexual bullying.

You can refer yourself for support or a worker can refer you.

For more information about the project please email us or call the office on 0141 552 3201. If you want information about our awareness raising workshops you can email our Rosey prevention worker.

If you are a young person looking for support please call our helpline number on 08088 00 00 14
