We’re here for:
- Women and girls aged 13 and over who have experienced rape, sexual assault, or sexual abuse
- Friends and family members of survivors
- Workers with a service user or colleague who has experienced sexual violence
Our support worker will work with you to cope with your issues and reactions to a rape or sexual assault. You don’t need to tell us what happened, when it took place or if it was reported to the police. We’re here to listen without judgement and offer support.
Keeping you safe
Your safety is our priority. Our number is withheld so it won’t appear on your bill or call list. We don’t record calls and we can’t see your number when you phone us.
Our helpline is confidential which means that we won’t share your information with any other agencies unless you ask us to. The only exceptions to this are if you tell us that there is a child who is being harmed or if you tell us, that you are in the process of committing suicide. If you tell us there’s a child being harmed, we will talk to our child protection officer and, if we know where the child is, we may contact a social worker. If you tell us you’re in the process of committing suicide and we know where you are, we will call an ambulance.
