We will never stop standing for and with women and girls across the world during 16 days of activism until violence is eradicated once and for all.
However, there is so much more that has to be done until we can do that. We see every day the life-long effects of violence on women and girls. We, therefore, want to use these 16 days to provide information, insight and challenge on why gender-based violence is still so prevalent and in many cases tolerated even in countries like ours, how it presents, and most importantly the impact it has on the lives of women and girls who survive it.
