Support and Advocacy Worker (Outreach)

Part time, fixed term contract to 31st March 2017

Salary scale - AP5 point 1 (£27,303) pro rata for 28 hours per week

Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre is recruiting a part time outreach Support and Advocacy Worker. This worker will provide support to women from East Dunbartonshire, who are survivors of sexual violence.

Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre is based in Glasgow city centre but covers six local authority areas. The worker will be based in East Dunbartonshire for three days each week and will work in Glasgow city centre one day each week.

Applicants should have at least two years’ experience of working with survivors of sexual violence in both a support and advocacy role. This post also requires a worker who is a car driver and has access to a car for work purposes.
